Don't forget that the deadline for DepicT! '07 is fast approaching...
We've received over 250 micro-movies from around the world already, but we want as many as we can get! So, for those of you who work right up to the last minute, you now have an extra week to get your 90 second masterpiece to us. We'll now be accepting entries until 1700hrs (GMT) on Monday 10 September. Visit our upload site where it couldn't be easier to submit your films.
The shortlist will be announced here on Mon 8 October, so once you've uploaded your film, be sure to check back to see the top films of DepicT! '07 and to vote for the DepicT! '07 Audience Award. Prizes for this year's shortlisted filmmakers include: their films being made available for theatrical screenings across the UK through the Digital Screen Network, a free Encounters Network Delegate's pass, and a one-year subscription to Shooting People. Not to mention, the best DepicT! '07 film will net its creator £2000 cash!
This year's judges, who include Singapore's rising star Royston Tan and Aardman Animations founding director David Sproxton, are looking for emerging filmmaking talent which displays originality, imagination and the ablility to engage the audience in a mere 90 seconds or less, so send us your super-short films now!
