DepicT! is delighted to announce the twelve films shortlisted for this year’s competition. These mini-movies were chosen from over 350 submissions in one of the strongest years we’ve ever had, and we feel this selection brilliantly exemplifies the broad range of possibilities within the 90 second format. You can watch them all here.
Many thanks to all who submitted their work to DepicT! ‘08, and congratulations to all the shortlisted filmmakers!

Join us at Encounters Short Film Festival on Sat 22 Nov for the big screen premiere of the shortlisted films and a chance to meet the talent behind them at the DepicT! Showcase. Later that evening, winners of all three awards will be announced at the Encounters Awards Ceremony. For more details on these events and the whole festival, and to book tickets, visit the Encounters website.
In the meantime, we hope you can take a few minutes to watch the shortlisted films, leave us your comments, and rate each one out of five stars to help determine the winner of the Shooting People DepicT! Audience Award.
